• • Nango Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Engineer, at either a Senior or Staff level, to join our core engineering team. This pivotal role is instrumental in shaping the entire frontend experience of Nango's innovative platform, which empowers developers to build product integrations with AI and connect applications to the real world. As a product-led business targeting developers, the quality and sophistication of our User Interface (UI) directly mirrors the caliber of our product. You will be tasked with a comprehensive revamp of our dashboard and developer-facing interfaces, elevating them to best-in-class standards across all facets, including information architecture, interaction design, rendering performance, and overall polish.
• • In this capacity, you will take full ownership of the frontend from the initial ideation phase through to final implementation. This involves a deep collaboration with the broader engineering team and, crucially, with our developer customers. Your insights will be vital in understanding their needs and pain points, allowing for iterative improvements and the creation of a truly exceptional user experience. You will be at the forefront of defining what a best-in-class developer integration platform looks like from a user's perspective.
• • Your primary responsibilities will include rebuilding and significantly elevating Nango's dashboard and developer-facing UI. This is not merely an aesthetic upgrade; it's about establishing a new benchmark for quality, craftsmanship, and user-centric design within the developer tools space. You will design and implement complex, data-intensive views, such as logs, sync status, and connection management interfaces. These views must be not only visually clear and intuitive but also performant and a genuine pleasure to use, even when handling large volumes of data at scale.
• • A significant focus of your role will be on frontend performance optimization. This entails meticulously optimizing rendering processes, minimizing bundle sizes to ensure rapid load times, and guaranteeing that the UI feels instantaneous and responsive to user interactions. You will leverage your expertise in areas like virtual rendering, memoization, lazy loading, and bundle analysis to achieve these goals.
• • You will be responsible for building polished, accessible UI components and establishing scalable patterns and conventions for the frontend codebase. This will ensure consistency, maintainability, and a high standard of quality across the entire frontend architecture. Your work will directly impact the developer experience, making it easier and more efficient for our users to leverage Nango's capabilities.
• • Beyond core UI development, you will collaborate directly with our developer customers. This direct engagement is key to understanding their workflows, identifying friction points, and gathering feedback to drive product evolution. Your ability to translate user needs into effective UI solutions will be paramount.
• • While your primary focus is frontend, you will also contribute to backend work using Node.js/TypeScript when necessary to unblock yourself or to ship features end-to-end. While deep backend expertise isn't a prerequisite, you should be comfortable enough to be autonomous in these situations, demonstrating a full-stack awareness.
