📋 Description
- • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance frontend applications for Coins.ph’s mobile and web platforms used by over 18 million users.
- • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to translate wireframes and design systems into responsive, accessible, and scalable user interfaces.
- • Implement and optimize React-based components using modern JavaScript (ES6+) and state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
- • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility across iOS, Android, and desktop environments.
- • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards and best practices.
- • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to deliver real-time cryptocurrency pricing, transaction data, and financial service functionality.
- • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, enforce team standards, and share knowledge across the engineering team.
- • Debug and resolve frontend performance issues, including load times, rendering bottlenecks, and memory leaks.
- • Work closely with QA engineers to identify, reproduce, and fix UI/UX bugs prior to production releases.
- • Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to continuously improve the user experience.
- • Contribute to the evolution of the design system by aligning UI components with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
- • Support A/B testing initiatives by implementing frontend variations and measuring user engagement metrics.
- • Ensure all frontend code complies with regulatory requirements set by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for financial data handling and user privacy.
- • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an agile development team.
- • Proactively identify technical debt and propose solutions to improve system reliability and maintainability.
- • Provide technical guidance to junior frontend engineers and contribute to onboarding new team members.
- • Monitor application performance using frontend observability tools such as Sentry, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
- • Optimize frontend assets for speed and efficiency, including image compression, lazy loading, and code splitting.
- • Maintain compatibility with third-party financial and identity verification services integrated into the Coins.ph platform.
- • Advocate for user-centered design principles by collaborating with product and customer support teams to address usability feedback.
