📋 Description

• As a Lead Frontend Engineer at Binance Holdings Limited, you will be at the forefront of innovation, driving the development of our world-class digital asset and blockchain-based applications. This role is designed for a seasoned frontend expert who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and possesses a strong desire to both lead and contribute technically. You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and technical direction of our products, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and deliver unparalleled value to our 300+ million users globally.
• Your primary responsibility will be to lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing frontend engineering team. This involves fostering a collaborative and innovative culture, guiding technical decisions, and ensuring the team's output meets Binance's stringent quality and performance standards. You will be a technical mentor, providing guidance on best practices, code quality, and architectural patterns, empowering your team to achieve their full potential.
• While leadership is crucial, this role also demands significant hands-on coding. Approximately 80% of your time will be dedicated to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, actively contributing to the development of new features and the enhancement of existing ones. You will be responsible for translating complex product requirements into elegant frontend solutions, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and adherence to design specifications.
• You will play a key role in architectural discussions and decisions, contributing to the long-term vision and technical roadmap of our frontend platforms. This includes evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and tools to ensure Binance remains at the cutting edge of frontend development. Your insights will be critical in maintaining our competitive edge and ensuring our applications are built for the future.
• Collaborating closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers will be essential. You will translate user needs and design concepts into functional, high-quality user interfaces. This cross-functional collaboration ensures that our products are not only technically sound but also intuitive, engaging, and aligned with business objectives.
• You will be responsible for driving best practices in frontend development, including code reviews, testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end), performance optimization, and accessibility. Ensuring a high level of code quality, maintainability, and reliability will be a core part of your contribution.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and workflows. Identifying bottlenecks, proposing solutions, and implementing changes to enhance team productivity and efficiency will be highly valued.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading frontend engineering teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and their ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of web performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Pinia) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to architect scalable and maintainable frontend solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
