- • As a Frontend Software Engineer at airSlate, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of pdfFiller, a leading online PDF editor used by over 10 million monthly users worldwide. Your work will directly impact how individuals and businesses create, edit, sign, and manage documents in a seamless, no-code environment, contributing to the company’s mission of digitizing workflows and improving operational efficiency at scale.
- • You will collaborate with a passionate, global team of 120+ professionals across engineering, product, and design to build scalable, high-performance frontend features that enhance usability, accessibility, and innovation in document automation—ensuring pdfFiller remains a market leader in the SaaS productivity space.
- • Day to day, you will design, develop, and maintain responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces using modern frontend technologies, focusing on complex interactions within the PDF editor such as form filling, annotation, real-time collaboration, and document rendering.
- • You will write clean, modular, and testable code in JavaScript/TypeScript, leveraging frameworks like React or Vue.js, and adhere to best practices in component architecture, state management, and performance optimization to ensure smooth user experiences across desktop and mobile browsers.
- • You will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and work closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional, accessible interfaces that meet WCAG standards and deliver exceptional user satisfaction.
- • You will troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, optimize load times and rendering performance, and implement monitoring and logging to improve reliability and user experience under high traffic conditions.
- • You will collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs effectively, ensuring seamless data flow between frontend interfaces and backend services for document storage, user authentication, and workflow automation.
- • You will stay current with emerging frontend trends and tools, proactively suggesting improvements to the tech stack, build processes, and development workflows to enhance team productivity and product quality.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with hands-on experience building complex web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles, including experience with CSS-in-JS, Sass, or similar styling methodologies.
- • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, Vuex) and asynchronous data handling in frontend applications.
- • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON-based data exchange, including experience integrating frontend components with backend services.
- • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, code splitting, and efficient rendering strategies.
- • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience building inclusive user interfaces.
