- • As a Frontend Software Engineer at Wayflyer, you will design and deliver complex frontend solutions using TypeScript and React, providing technical leadership to drive high-quality, scalable user interfaces for financial products that empower SMBs to access growth capital quickly and efficiently.
- • Day to day, you will lead architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, collaborate with product and design teams to build intuitive interfaces, partner with backend engineers on API integrations, and drive improvements in performance, accessibility, and user experience across the platform.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- • 5+ years of professional software development experience with deep expertise in frontend development
- • Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and extensive experience with React and modern frontend architectures
- • Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals with a focus on performance optimisation
- • Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and managing complex state
- • Solid understanding of Python and Django, with the ability to mentor others
- • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and maintaining high-quality testing practices
- • Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior developers
