- • As a Fukienese-English Video-Phone Interpreter, you will play a vital role in breaking language and cultural barriers for limited-English speakers across critical sectors such as healthcare, emergency services, government, and business, enabling access to essential services and improving lives.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include responding promptly to interpreting sessions, delivering accurate audio and video interpretation between Fukienese and English, maintaining professionalism and cultural sensitivity, typing data on dedicated devices during calls, and adhering to strict interpretation protocols while remaining calm during high-stress or emotionally charged interactions.

🎯 Requirements
- • Fluency in Fukienese and English with strong cultural competency and ability to assess regional and accent differences
- • Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain high accuracy during interpretation
- • Ability to remain neutral, objective, and detached during sensitive conversations, including end-of-life, medical, and emotionally charged situations
- • High school diploma or equivalent, and legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- • Access to a dedicated personal device (Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS laptop/desktop, iPadOS/Android tablet, or iOS/Android smartphone) and a quiet, secure workspace
- • High-speed internet with minimum 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload, ping ≤300 ms, jitter ≤30 ms
