- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and test generation for AI training datasets.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications that define coding challenges and their expected outcomes.
- • Develop and extend unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specifications.
- • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes in coding scenarios to improve task quality and robustness.
- • Ensure strict alignment between natural-language specifications, reference implementations, and expected outputs in all assigned tasks.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to produce production-realistic software engineering scenarios.
- • Perform code reviews and refactoring of existing code to simulate real-world development workflows.
- • Contribute to production migrations by designing tasks that reflect actual system upgrades or architectural changes.
- • Deliver structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- • Work on a project-based, part-time basis with full autonomy over schedule and workload.
- • Provide all necessary tools and infrastructure; no company equipment is provided.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English at an advanced level for all documentation, specifications, and feedback.
- • Collaborate remotely with a global team of AI trainers and engineers to enhance the quality of AI training data.
- • Accept payment on a per-project basis, with rates estimated based on anticipated completion time.
- • May simultaneously engage with other vendors or employers, provided such arrangements comply with their respective policies.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
