- • The Functions Manager for Staff Conference '27 provides leadership to ensure the proper utilization of event function space, advancing InterVarsity’s mission by supporting seamless logistics for a national staff gathering.
- • Day to day, the role manages space requests, scheduling, furnishings, and vendor coordination; maintains inventory and budgets; oversees catering, AV, security, and freight logistics; develops communication plans; and ensures compliance with operational and accounting standards.
- • The team is part of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA’s Operations division, supporting national events through detailed planning and execution in partnership with internal staff and external vendors.
- • The person will develop expertise in event logistics, vendor management, budget oversight, and cross-functional coordination while growing in spiritual maturity and professional leadership within a mission-driven organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Two or more years of team management experience
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- • Ability to work independently without close supervision
- • Ability to maintain accurate records and files
- • Ability to organize people, events, and details
