- • Own the end-to-end product roadmap and execution flow, from prioritization and scoping to Linear setup, delivery coordination, and measurable product outcomes.
- • Implement and maintain features across the full stack including frontend (React, TypeScript, Next.js), backend (Node.js, NestJS), infrastructure, and QA.
- • Architect, build, and optimize scalable RESTful APIs and services using NestJS and PostgreSQL, ensuring high performance and reliability for real-money lending workflows.
- • Model and implement complex lending systems including underwriting, credit decisioning, and integrations with credit bureaus and core banking platforms.
- • Own the full user experience of features — design and implementation are not handed off; you are responsible for both the functionality and the usability of what you ship.
- • Use AI tools (Claude, Claude Code, Lovable, OpenAI, Codex) as a core part of your development workflow to scaffold prototypes, generate UI options, write tests, and review your own code before human review.
- • Ship features with a bias to action: prototype, launch, measure, and iterate rapidly — prioritizing outcomes over perfect planning.
- • Maintain and improve system architecture, deployment pipelines, and observability using AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Datadog.
- • Collaborate with design and product partners to amplify solutions on complex problems, not to receive handoff specs — you drive product direction with judgment and ownership.
- • Take extreme ownership of product outcomes: if a feature doesn’t move the needle, iterate without being asked.
- • Contribute to shaping engineering culture, technical direction, and product strategy within a remote-first, talent-dense team across LATAM.
- • Build dynamic, server-rendered interfaces with React, TypeScript, and Next.js that are intuitive, performant, and aesthetically thoughtful — you refuse to ship ugly or confusing interfaces.
- • Apply deep technical expertise in PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and complex business logic to ensure system scalability and data integrity.
- • Work in a product-driven environment where you lead product outcomes, not just close tickets or complete isolated tasks.
- • Leverage AI-native workflows as default — thinking in systems, prompts, scaffolds, and agentic workflows to accelerate execution and decision-making.
- • Contribute to a platform that handles real money for real members every day, powering credit unions and lenders across the U.S.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years building and owning end-to-end products in product-driven environments
- • Fluent in modern frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend (Node.js, NestJS)
- • Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, including schema design and query performance optimization
- • Proven product judgment: ability to decide what to build (and what not to) based on users, metrics, and context
- • Experience using AI tools (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) as a core part of the development workflow
- • Bias to ship: demonstrated ability to prototype, launch, measure, and iterate rapidly
