- • Operates equipment to fuse HDPE piping systems and perform repair installations using electrofusion and structure welding techniques.
- • Determines the appropriate methods and equipment required for pipe installation based on job site conditions and customer needs.
- • Installs custom HDPE piping systems and repair solutions for municipal, non-residential, and residential infrastructure projects.
- • Inspects and maintains fusion equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance with quality standards.
- • Communicates directly with customers to assess installation requirements and provide technical guidance.
- • Identifies installation and repair needs on-site and evaluates whether final products meet established quality control criteria.
- • Transports fusion equipment and tools to job sites using a Company Vehicle or Personal Vehicle, with vehicle use exceeding 20% of the average work week.
- • Operates field equipment including forklifts and handles materials and tools weighing 50+ pounds or requiring awkward maneuvering.
- • Performs 24-hour on-call duties to respond to emergency repair situations as needed.
- • Works in environments with exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
- • Conducts physical tasks including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering heavy or awkward materials over intermittent periods.
- • Refers complex or unusual problems to supervisors while operating under general supervision using established policies and procedures.
- • Undergoes a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check as a condition of employment due to consistent vehicle operation.
- • Travels occasionally (less than 10% of the time) for job-related assignments requiring overnight stays.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum age of 18 years
- • Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
- • HS Diploma or GED, strongly preferred
- • 2–5 years of experience in piping installation or related field
- • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- • Ability to operate fusion equipment, forklifts, and field tools
