📋 Description
- • Onebrief is seeking a highly motivated, technically minded Game and Hardware Tester to help build the Atom Engine, a new generation of game engine that's cloud first.
- • The successful candidate will be responsible for testing AtomEngine’s ModKit, identifying bugs, providing feedback, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- • The role will focus on testing AtomEngine’s ModKit that customers use to customize and extend AtomEngine for anything they can dream up!
- • The ideal candidate will have experience as a game developer hobbyist, using scripting and visual scripting tools like Unreal Blueprints and/or preferably, GDScript.
- • Familiarity with PC gaming hardware is also required.
- • The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of testing tasks in a timely, efficient, and thorough manner, including Load Testing, Stability Testing, Functionality Testing, and other tasks as needed.
- • Effective communication with team members is crucial to learn new systems quickly, get & stay unblocked, and provide actionable test results in real time.
- • The candidate will work with Test leadership to create and maintain clear, detailed test plans and procedures.
- • The role requires regularly working on-site at customer locations in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance is required.
- • Onebrief will provide relocation assistance for candidates who are not currently within commuting distance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience as a game developer hobbyist, using scripting and visual scripting tools like Unreal Blueprints and/or preferably, GDScript.
- • Familiarity with PC gaming hardware
- • Strong organizational skills
- • 3 to 5 years of experience in video game quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA principles, methodologies, and processes.
- • Proficiency in using industry-standard testing tools and software, such as version control systems, bug tracking systems, and test management tools.
- • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize testing activities based on project requirements and objectives.
- • Concise, effective communication skills (spoken and written).
- • Requirement to be on-site in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas 3 days per week
- • Active Secret Clearance
- • Due to federal contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this position.
