- • Design reusable Terraform modules that encapsulate best-practice patterns for RAG systems, LLM serving, vector databases, and GPU/TPU orchestration, cutting future delivery time by 40 %.
- • Containerize Python micro-services (FastAPI, LangChain, LlamaIndex) with multi-stage Docker builds, achieving sub-60-second cold-start times and passing vulnerability scans with zero critical findings.
- • Deploy and harden Google Kubernetes Engine clusters: configure PodSecurityPolicies, NetworkPolicies, Workload Identity, Binary Authorization, and Shielded Nodes to satisfy bank-grade security baselines.
- • Implement fully automated CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build and GitHub Actions—every merge triggers unit tests, SAST, container scans, cost estimation, and blue-green deployments with automated rollback on SLO breach.
- • Optimize GPU/TPU utilization for training and inference: leverage Spot VMs, node auto-provisioning, and custom metrics to reduce compute spend by 30 % while maintaining P99 latency under 200 ms.
- • Establish observability gold standards: Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Logging, Alerting, and SLO dashboards that surface actionable insights to both engineering squads and client risk teams.
- • Serve as the go-to cloud authority during client workshops and quarterly business reviews, translating complex technical trade-offs into clear risk, cost, and compliance narratives that win executive buy-in.
- • Mentor junior engineers through pair-programming and code reviews, raising overall Terraform and Kubernetes proficiency scores across the practice.
- • Contribute to internal IP: publish architectural decision records, runbooks, and threat-model diagrams that become the blueprint for all future GenAI engagements in the financial sector.
- • Maintain 95 %+ uptime for production GenAI endpoints, measured via synthetic probes and real-user monitoring, with documented incident retrospectives feeding a culture of continuous improvement.
- • Drive quarterly “game-day” chaos-engineering exercises to validate disaster-recovery playbooks and ensure RPO ≤ 15 minutes and RTO ≤ 1 hour for critical banking workloads.
- • Evaluate emerging GCP AI/ML services (Gemini, Imagen, Codey APIs) and craft proof-of-concepts that keep our clients ahead of regulatory and competitive curves.
- • Collaborate with InfoSec and Compliance teams to automate evidence collection for audits—turning manual spreadsheet exercises into policy-as-code checks that run on every pull request.
🎯 Requirements
- • Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect (active/current) with verifiable credential ID and expiration date.
- • 5+ years of cloud engineering or DevOps experience, including 2+ years hands-on with GCP core services (GCE, GKE, Vertex AI, IAM, KMS, VPC).
- • Expert-level Terraform skills: reusable modules, remote state management, policy-as-code with Sentinel or OPA.
- • Production-grade Kubernetes (GKE) expertise: Helm charts, security hardening, cluster autoscaling, and multi-tenant isolation.
- • Advanced Python development: FastAPI or Flask, async programming, integration with GenAI libraries (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- • Nice-to-have: AWS Certified Solutions Architect credential and multi-cloud project experience; prior banking/FSI exposure with PCI-DSS, GDPR, or MAS TRM compliance implementations.
