📋 Description

• Monitor daily banking activity and cash positions across SEON’s international entities in Hungary, UK, Indonesia, and the US to ensure adequate liquidity and funding.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, cash burn analyses, and treasury reports to support strategic business decisions and operational funding needs.
• Maintain and reconcile multiple bank accounts within NetSuite, recording transactions such as bank fees, interest, foreign exchange movements, and month-end reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany accounting by recording transactions, preparing funding settlements, and reconciling balances between SEON’s global entities on a monthly basis.
• Support month-end close processes including payroll, tax accruals, fixed asset accounting, depreciation, amortization, and foreign exchange accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with accounts payable processing, entity-level journal entries, and general accounting tasks across all SEON entities.
• Perform foreign exchange revaluations and analyze realized and unrealized FX gains and losses to maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting and treasury policies, and support treasury-related audits, KYC/AML processes, UBO requests, and external financial reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to validate expense accruals and streamline month-end close procedures across departments.
• Maintain strong relationships with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners to facilitate smooth financial operations and reporting.
• Contribute to finance-led and cross-functional projects aimed at improving treasury, accounting, and financial operations efficiency.
• Work within a hybrid schedule based at SEON’s Budapest office, coordinating with global finance teams to uphold consistent accounting standards.
• Apply knowledge of Hungarian Accounting Standards (HAS) in daily accounting activities, with IFRS knowledge providing an advantage in reporting consistency.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial data analysis, modeling, and reporting tasks.
• Ensure all accounting activities align with SEON’s internal controls and international compliance frameworks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, treasury, or a similar finance function
• Strong understanding of Hungarian Accounting Standards (HAS)
• Fluent Hungarian and English language skills, both written and verbal
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis
• Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle (beneficial but not required)
