📋 Description

• This role offers a unique opportunity for experienced ParaView users to contribute to cutting-edge AI research by evaluating and refining AI-generated content related to computational science and high-performance computing (HPC) workflows. As an AI Trainer, you will leverage your domain expertise in geophysics, fluid dynamics, or scientific visualization to help train AI models to better understand and simulate complex scientific processes, directly impacting the advancement of AI in scientific domains.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include creating tool-related questions based on real-world ParaView and CFD workflows, reviewing AI-generated responses for technical accuracy and scientific consistency, annotating simulation outputs, and providing detailed feedback to improve AI performance in handling visualization tasks, VTK pipelines, and HPC data analysis scenarios. You will work independently using your expertise to assess whether AI outputs align with domain-specific best practices and scientific principles.
• The role is part of Handshake Technologies’ AI training initiative, a flexible, project-based program that connects subject matter experts with AI development efforts. The company focuses on bridging human expertise with machine learning to build more accurate, domain-aware AI systems, particularly in technical and scientific fields where precision and contextual understanding are critical.
• Contributors in this role can deepen their understanding of AI applications in scientific computing, develop skills in AI evaluation and prompt design, and gain exposure to how large language models interpret complex scientific workflows. 🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with ParaView in professional, academic, or freelance settings
• Working knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) post-processing, scientific visualization principles, and HPC workflows
• Strong written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail for evaluating technical content
• Ability to work independently, follow detailed guidelines, and deliver consistent, high-quality feedback
• Current residence in the United States (required for work authorization compliance)
