📋 Description
- • Translate patent documents from German to Japanese with precision, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to patent law terminology.
- • Proofread and edit translated patent content to eliminate errors in grammar, syntax, and technical terminology specific to Electricity and Computer Science domains.
- • Utilize XTM CAT tool to manage translation memory, terminology databases, and consistency across large patent portfolios.
- • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive intellectual property content throughout the translation and review process.
- • Deliver high-quality translations within tight deadlines for a global client base requiring rapid turnaround on patent filings.
- • Collaborate with project managers to clarify ambiguous source text, request glossary updates, and ensure alignment with client-specific style guides.
- • Ensure all translations comply with international patent office standards, including Japanese Patent Office (JPO) formatting and linguistic conventions.
- • Work independently on remote assignments with minimal supervision while maintaining consistent quality across multiple concurrent projects.
- • Apply specialized knowledge of Electricity and Computer Science patent terminology, including circuit design, semiconductor technology, software algorithms, and networking protocols.
- • Participate in quality assurance checks and feedback loops to continuously improve translation accuracy and client satisfaction.
- • Adapt translation style to match the formal, technical tone required for legal patent documentation in Japanese.
- • Maintain accurate records of translation hours, project milestones, and deliverables for freelance billing and reporting purposes.
