- • Proofread and edit translated patent content to eliminate errors in grammar, syntax, terminology, and consistency, maintaining the original technical meaning and legal integrity.
- • Work exclusively on patent-related content within the specialized domains of Electricity and Computer Science, applying domain-specific knowledge to accurately render complex technical concepts.
- • Utilize the XTM CAT tool for translation memory management, terminology consistency, and project efficiency, adhering to established workflows and quality assurance protocols.
- • Deliver translated documents on tight deadlines, maintaining high-quality output under time-sensitive conditions for a global client base.
- • Collaborate with project managers and quality assurance teams to resolve terminology ambiguities, clarify source text intent, and ensure alignment with client-specific style guides.
- • Maintain strict confidentiality of all patent materials, adhering to non-disclosure agreements and data security protocols required for intellectual property content.
- • Participate in periodic quality reviews and feedback sessions to improve translation accuracy and process efficiency across ongoing and future projects.
- • Ensure all deliverables meet Welocalize’s quality benchmarks for linguistic excellence, technical fidelity, and client satisfaction in high-stakes patent documentation.

- • Submit completed translations in required file formats, with proper metadata and version control as specified by project guidelines.
- • Communicate proactively with project coordinators regarding potential delays, ambiguities in source text, or resource constraints affecting delivery timelines.
- • Adhere to Welocalize’s global quality standards and linguistic guidelines for multilingual patent translation, ensuring consistency across international projects.
