📋 Description

  • • The Global Alliance Manager at Guidewire Software, Inc. is a strategic role focused on driving global partnership success by building and managing relationships with System Integrators (SIs) to expand market reach, increase incremental revenue, and ensure customer success through aligned go-to-market strategies. This role is critical to Guidewire’s growth as it bridges internal teams (Sales, Services, Product, Marketing) with external SI partners to co-create value and deliver joint solutions that meet the evolving needs of property and casualty insurers worldwide.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing global SI relationships and maintaining senior-level executive engagement; developing and executing comprehensive business plans covering sales, delivery, marketing, and innovation; serving as the primary liaison for SI-related matters for named accounts by deeply understanding partner organizations and influencing their leadership networks; collaborating with Guidewire Sales, Services, and Product teams to align partner capabilities with market opportunities; increasing incremental revenue by enabling SIs to originate new business and enhancing their business development readiness; defining and executing account-level plans with Guidewire Sales, Services, and regional teams; developing and executing co-sell and go-to-market strategies with SI partners and regularly updating internal stakeholders; ensuring SIs are proficient in Guidewire’s value propositions and guiding them through sales cycles; working with Regional Alliance Managers to drive joint sales action plans; influencing SI services teams to build robust Guidewire practices; providing insight into SI resources and collaborating with Guidewire Services to ensure customer success; establishing clear rules of engagement and supervising partner-involved implementations; working with Regional Alliance Managers and local Services teams to drive project execution; identifying and executing joint marketing opportunities with Guidewire Marketing; facilitating SI innovation investments such as accelerator developments; liaising on event sponsorships; acting as the internal ‘Go To’ person for the managed SI partner; serving as liaison between SI and Guidewire Legal during agreement negotiations (MSAs, NDAs, PartnerConnect, etc.); maintaining monitoring of legal agreements; managing partner compliance with PartnerConnect; and keeping Guidewire leadership informed of SI partner plans.
  • • The Global Alliance team at Guidewire operates as a unified, collaborative unit focused on partnership excellence, where clear, rational, and evidence-based communication is highly valued.   • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in global alliance management within the enterprise software and insurance technology sectors, sharpen your executive communication and stakeholder management skills, gain experience in matrixed organizational structures (GAM/RAM), and learn to drive complex, multi-functional initiatives that directly impact revenue and customer outcomes. You will have the opportunity to shape strategic partnerships that influence Guidewire’s market expansion and contribute to the success of some of the world’s largest and most complex insurance organizations.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Foundation in partner relationship development and management
  • • Experience working in Global Alliance and Regional Alliance Manager (GAM/RAM) models
  • • Experience working with Systems Integrators (SIs), either managing SI relationships for a major software, SaaS, or AI company with global sales OR working as an Alliance Manager at a Consulting Firm or Systems Integrator
  • • Executive communication skills – written and verbal – with ability to engage internally and externally in sales and executive functions
  • • Strong relationship and network building abilities
  • • Project management skills
  • • Ability to present ideas in business/user-friendly language
  • • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and detail-oriented
  • • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed model (GAM/RAM)
  • • Team-oriented, ethical, and professional demeanor
  • • Highly responsive
  • • Willingness to travel up to 30%
