  • • As a Global Benefits Specialist at AlphaSense, you will play a critical role in supporting the well-being and satisfaction of employees across EMEA, APAC, and the US by administering and optimizing global benefit programs that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will directly contribute to attracting and retaining top talent in a competitive global market while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
  • • You will manage and administer employee benefit programs including health insurance, retirement plans, time off policies, wellness initiatives, and other non-salary compensation for your primary and backup regions, ensuring timely enrollment, accurate record-keeping, and seamless employee experience.
  • • You will maintain strict compliance with local labor laws and regulations across EMEA, with supporting responsibilities in APAC and the US, monitoring legislative changes and partnering with Legal and Finance teams to mitigate risk and ensure adherence.
  • • You will serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing clear, empathetic guidance on benefits eligibility, enrollment, claims, and policy questions, while proactively addressing concerns and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • • You will collaborate closely with external vendors (insurers, administrators, wellness providers) to ensure timely delivery of services, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate improvements in service levels or cost efficiency.
  • • You will actively contribute to global benefits harmonization efforts by identifying inconsistencies, sharing best practices across regions, and helping design standardized processes where appropriate without compromising local compliance.
  • • You will support the maintenance and enhancement of benefits data in Workday and other HRIS systems, including configuration updates, audit trails, and reporting to ensure data integrity and support HR analytics.
  • • You will draft, maintain, and continuously improve process documentation, policy guides, FAQs, and training materials related to benefits administration, ensuring clarity and accessibility for employees and HR partners.
  • • You will manage benefits invoice reconciliation in partnership with the Finance team, validating charges, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • • You will assist in the annual benefits renewal cycle and open enrollment processes, including communication planning, system testing, employee education, and post-enrollment audits to ensure smooth execution and high participation rates.
  • • You will help implement new benefit programs or enhancements, working cross-functionally to assess needs, evaluate options, manage timelines, and communicate changes effectively to stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • • 5-8 years of HR experience with 2-3 years specifically in global benefits administration; experience in pre-IPO or publicly traded companies is preferred
  • • Proficiency in Workday for benefits management is strongly preferred
  • • Strong knowledge of EMEA labor laws and regulations; familiarity with US and/or APAC requirements is a plus
  • • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and employee needs
  • • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel for data auditing, analysis, and reporting with meticulous attention to detail
  • • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment and skilled at creating order through process documentation, templates, and reporting tools
