- • The Global Benefits Specialist plays a critical role in shaping the employee experience at Getty Images by ensuring that global benefits programs are administered accurately, communicated clearly, and aligned with the company’s mission to be one of the best places to work worldwide. This position directly supports employee well-being, engagement, and retention through the effective management of health, retirement, and welfare benefits across international jurisdictions.
- • The role is essential to maintaining compliance, operational excellence, and high service standards in benefits delivery, enabling Getty Images to uphold its Leadership Principles while supporting a diverse, global workforce.
- • Administer and manage day-to-day operations of global benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, retirement, and pension plans across multiple countries, ensuring accurate enrollment, changes, and terminations in HRIS and benefits administration systems.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, providing clear, timely, and empathetic communication via email, phone, and self-service portals, while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA where applicable).
- • Collaborate with external benefits vendors and carriers to resolve claims, billing discrepancies, and service issues, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and escalating complex cases as needed to maintain high-quality support.
- • Support open enrollment processes globally by preparing communications, coordinating timelines with regional HR partners, updating benefit guides and FAQs, and monitoring participation rates to drive engagement and understanding.
- • Audit benefits data regularly for accuracy and compliance, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions; prepare reports for HR leadership and finance teams on utilization, costs, and trends to inform strategic decisions.
- • Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies in benefits administration workflows and recommending automation, standardization, or system enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- • Partner with the Global HR team and regional HR business partners to ensure benefits offerings remain competitive, culturally appropriate, and aligned with local regulations and Getty Images’ Leadership Principles of integrity, innovation, and excellence.
- • Stay current on evolving global benefits trends, regulatory changes, and best practices through continuous learning, webinars, and industry resources to recommend innovative enhancements that support talent attraction and retention.
- • Contribute to a culture of inclusion and belonging by ensuring benefits communications and programs are accessible, equitable, and responsive to the diverse needs of employees across regions, including support for parental leave, mental health, and wellness initiatives.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- • Minimum 3 years of experience in benefits administration, HR operations, or HR generalist roles, preferably with exposure to global or multi-country benefits programs.
- • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA) and familiarity with international benefits frameworks in key regions such as EMEA or APAC.
- • Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and benefits administration platforms; advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and process tracking.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly and compassionately to diverse employee populations.
- • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
