- • Lead the design, strategy, and execution of Pebl’s global benefits programs across 150+ countries, ensuring alignment with market expansion, client needs, and regulatory compliance.
- • Define and evolve a scalable global benefits roadmap, including standardization frameworks and localized benefit offerings tailored to regional requirements.
- • Own and optimize Pebl’s global broker and vendor ecosystem, including selection, negotiation, performance management, and governance through SLAs, scorecards, and quarterly business reviews.
- • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements across all markets by maintaining oversight of vendor relationships and benefit plan adherence.
- • Oversee end-to-end implementation and renewal workflows for benefits programs globally and in the U.S., driving consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- • Drive standardization and continuous improvement across regions and teams by streamlining enrollment, renewal, and administration processes.
- • Implement cost optimization strategies through plan design, cost-sharing models, and vendor negotiations to enhance competitiveness and financial sustainability.
- • Lead or support the implementation of benefits administration systems and partner with Product and Engineering teams to enhance Pebl’s in-house platform.
- • Improve integrations between HRIS, payroll systems, and third-party vendor platforms to enable seamless data flow and reduce manual work.
- • Leverage automation and AI tools to reduce administrative burden, increase scalability, and improve employee experience in benefits delivery.
- • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team responsible for global and U.S. benefits operations, setting clear priorities, KPIs, and accountability structures.
- • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement within the benefits team to drive performance and engagement.
- • Support the benefits P&L through strategic cost management, vendor optimization, and benefit design decisions that balance financial goals with employee experience.
- • Use data and insights to inform decision-making, measure outcomes, and improve the effectiveness of global benefits programs at scale.
- • Prepare for transition to a hybrid role in MedellĂn, Colombia, with regular in-person collaboration once the office opens.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in global benefits strategy, ideally within EOR, HCM, brokerage, or multinational environments
- • Deep expertise in global and U.S. benefits design, compliance, and vendor management
- • Proven experience building and scaling benefits programs across multiple countries
- • Strong experience managing brokers, insurers, and complex vendor ecosystems
- • Experience leading benefits system implementations or working closely with Product/Tech teams
- • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, global environment
