📋 Description

• Manages client relationships and daily administration of assigned Global Capital Markets (GCM) accounts with significant complexity and risk, serving as the main point of contact for clients and internal/external partners to drive sustainable earnings growth and compliance with Bank strategic plans.
• Monitors administrative and operational systems, reviews legal documents, coordinates risk and compliance activities with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Audit, and resolves control and client service issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Works with external parties such as attorneys and financial advisors to structure and close GCM transactions, participates in sales calls, prepares fee proposals, manages client relationships, and supports business development by uncovering new opportunities and referral sources.
• Part of Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company (M&T Bank), a financial institution focused on delivering innovative GCM products and services while maintaining strong internal controls and a culture of belonging aligned with the M&T Bank brand.
• Opportunity to develop expertise in GCM transaction administration, risk management, regulatory compliance, and client relationship strategy; gain experience mentoring junior staff, leading projects, and influencing product and service enhancements that improve business results and efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years' client service experience in Global Capital Markets products or markets, OR 7 years combined education/work experience including 3 years in lieu of degree
• High proficiency with personal computers and pertinent specialized internal software applications
• Demonstrated sense of ownership in jobs or projects
