- • As the Global Head of MICE at Perk.com Inc., you will lead the strategic growth and operational excellence of Perk Events, a fast-scaling vertical born from an internal innovation incubator, with the mission to disrupt the legacy meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry through AI-driven technology and world-class service.
- • You will report to the General Manager of Perk Events and be responsible for growing a global team of Event Specialists and Managers from ~20 to 40 by year-end, managing work allocation across regions, recruiting and developing talent, and ensuring high motivation to hit quarterly targets while maintaining a lean, fast, and happy team culture.
- • You will own sales targets by converting pipeline into booked events, consistently hitting ambitious quarterly goals, analyzing performance gaps, and driving growth through data-informed decisions and close collaboration with senior individual contributors on enterprise accounts and high-value opportunities (1000+ attendee events).
- • You will define new service quality standards, implement real-time monitoring processes, strengthen customer feedback loops, and improve customer loyalty and retention by turning customers into fans through exceptional experiences.
- • You will optimize conversion rates by implementing operational improvements based on customer feedback and quality metrics, increase win-rate, and partner with the Head of Product to ensure the product roadmap solves on-the-ground blockers faced by the Conversion team, including automating operational processes.
- • You will drive innovation and tech adoption by constantly improving tools and processes to scale operations, ensuring the Perk Events platform is fully adopted within your team, and sharing insights with leadership to shape strategic direction and key decisions for the Events business.
- • You will coach and develop your team using deep industry knowledge to provide hands-on mentorship, leveling up the next generation of MICE leaders while fostering a culture where top talent wants to work and stay.
- • Perk.com Inc. is a global leader in intelligent travel and spend management, trusted by over 10,000 companies including Wise, On Running, Breitling, and Fabletics, with more than 1,800 employees across 12 global offices, headquartered in London and Boston, and founded in 2015 with a mission to eliminate shadow work and power real work with real impact.
- • The company values ownership, delivering a 7-star experience, working as one team, and prioritizing curiosity, purpose, and mindset over mere knowledge, creating an environment where employees from over 70 countries can unlock their potential and shape how millions experience work.
- • This role requires an IRL-first approach, with expectations to work in-person 3 days a week from a commuting distance of Perk’s hubs, reflecting the company’s belief in the value of real-life connections for connectivity, productivity, creativity, and workplace satisfaction.
- • Perk is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring all candidates are welcome regardless of background, appearance, or identity, and provides clear guidelines to protect applicants from recruitment scams by only communicating via verified @perk.com or @externalperk.com email addresses, official social media, or LinkedIn-listed recruiters.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven leadership experience scaling a business unit from $1M to $10M+ in revenue, with deep understanding of MICE industry challenges and how to solve them.
- • Demonstrated ability to manage large teams (6-8 direct reports) and build high-performing, highly engaged teams that are motivated to hit ambitious quarterly targets.
- • Persistent, resilient mindset with a 'humble & scrappy' get-it-done attitude, capable of thinking strategically while staying close to on-the-ground execution in a fast-moving scale-up environment.
- • Strong analytical skills to report on individual and team performance with precision, using data to drive decisions rather than relying on intuition.
- • Expert stakeholder management skills to build bridges across departments including Product, Sales, Finance, and Legal, managing expectations and aligning cross-functional efforts.
- • Perfect written and spoken English is required, with the ability to command a room during presentations and write concise, clear strategy documents.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to disrupt a legacy industry with AI-driven technology and shape the future of human connection through Perk Events, a high-impact, fast-scaling vertical within a globally trusted SaaS platform.
- • Leadership role with significant autonomy and impact, reporting directly to the General Manager of Perk Events and influencing strategic direction, product partnership, and global growth initiatives.
- • Access to a diverse, global team of over 1,800 employees across 12 offices, representing more than 70 countries, fostering a multicultural and inclusive work environment.
- • Commitment to real-life collaboration with an IRL-first work model (3 days in-person), enhancing connectivity, productivity, and creativity through meaningful face-to-face interaction.
- • Clear path to professional growth as a mentor and developer of talent, with the chance to level up the next generation of MICE leaders in a supportive, innovation-driven culture.
- • Employer commitment to equity and safety, including protection from recruitment scams and a strict policy against requesting fees, sensitive data, or unofficial communication channels during hiring.
