📋 Description

  • • Deel is at the forefront of revolutionizing global work, offering an all-in-one payroll and HR platform designed to unlock global opportunity for every person, team, and business. As the fastest-growing SaaS company in history, we are fundamentally transforming how talent connects with companies worldwide, dismantling traditional barriers to hiring and career advancement. Our vision is to create the essential infrastructure for the future of work, fostering a more diverse and inclusive global economy. In 2024 alone, we facilitated over $11.2 billion in payments across nearly 100 currencies and extended healthcare and benefits to workers in 109 countries, ensuring global compensation and protection.
  • • The Global Leave Partner role is pivotal in managing and administering our comprehensive team member leave of absence programs across a multitude of countries. This position is critical for ensuring unwavering compliance with all local, regional, and global regulations pertaining to various types of leave. You will be the central operational support for all leave-related matters, encompassing medical, parental, personal, and statutory leaves, acting as a vital liaison between team members, managers, and key internal departments.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously administer global leave of absence programs. This involves a deep understanding and application of local laws, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, and specific country-specific regulations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all team members and managers, expertly guiding them through leave inquiries, explaining processes, and coordinating the crucial return-to-work phases.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves the end-to-end management of leave requests, from initial submission through approvals, extensions, and the implementation of necessary accommodations. This will be facilitated through our sophisticated Deel HR systems and any integrated third-party vendor platforms, requiring a high degree of proficiency and attention to detail.
  • • You will work in close collaboration with our Payroll and Benefits teams to guarantee the accuracy of compensation, the seamless continuation of benefits, and the correct application of deductions for team members while they are on leave. Maintaining comprehensive, confidential, and meticulously organized records of all leave-related documentation and case notes is paramount to this role.
  • • Proactively monitoring global regulatory landscapes for changes related to leave policies and legislation is essential. You will be responsible for adapting internal policies and practices to ensure ongoing compliance and to reflect best practices in leave management. This includes partnering closely with legal counsel to navigate and assess complex or escalated leave cases, particularly those involving disability accommodations.
  • • A key function will be to support and drive communication and education initiatives. These efforts aim to enhance the understanding of global leave policies among both team members and managers, fostering a supportive and informed environment. You will also be tasked with preparing and delivering regular, insightful reports on leave activity, identifying key trends, and tracking compliance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • • Furthermore, you will play an active role in identifying opportunities for process improvements. Your recommendations will be crucial in enhancing the overall leave administration experience for our global workforce, ensuring efficiency, fairness, and a positive employee experience. This role reports directly to the Associate Director of Global Benefits and is an individual contributor position, offering a significant opportunity for impact and professional growth within a rapidly expanding organization.
  • • Deel's commitment to its employees is reflected in its dynamic culture, driven by a globally distributed team of 7,000+ spanning over 100 countries. This diverse workforce speaks 74 languages and fosters continuous learning and innovation. Joining Deel means becoming part of a company recognized for its rapid growth and industry accolades, including CNBC Disruptor 50, Forbes Cloud 100, and Deloitte Fast 500, all while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction ratings.
