- • Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of integrated, multi-channel global marketing campaigns that directly support MariaDB’s core Go-to-Market (GTM) plays including Oracle Migration, Community Conversion, and Customer Upsell across enterprise and developer segments.
- • Own the campaign roadmap to generate qualified marketing leads (MQLs) and sales-accepted leads (SALs) aligned with revenue and sales targets, ensuring consistent pipeline growth.
- • Design and implement Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs targeting high-value accounts and the expanded B2B buying committee—including Finance, Operations, Legal, HR, and Cybersecurity stakeholders—using intent data and detailed profiling to drive personalized engagement.
- • Collaborate with product marketing and content teams to develop compelling, persona-aligned messaging and create content plans supporting campaigns, including white papers, webinars, case studies, blog posts, and evergreen/always-on content.
- • Execute and optimize campaigns across digital advertising (PPC, social media), email marketing, webinars, content syndication, and partner co-marketing channels, with specific focus on converting open-source community users into enterprise customers.
- • Strategically integrate AI and Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities into campaign workflows for automation, hyper-personalization, ad optimization, and scalable content development.
- • Define campaign KPIs, track performance in real-time, and deliver regular reporting to leadership using multi-touch attribution models to quantify ROI and Value on Investment (VOI).
- • Manage global webinar and email campaigns targeting commercial, enterprise, and international audiences, ensuring consistent messaging and timing across regions.
- • Work cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, and content teams to break down silos, align on shared goals, and ensure seamless data sharing between marketing and sales for ABM and lead nurturing.
- • Manage campaign budgets effectively to maximize ROI and ensure optimal allocation of resources across channels and geographies.
- • Apply deep understanding of the B2B customer journey and marketing funnel to tailor tactics at each stage—from awareness to retention and renewal.
- • Leverage marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to execute, track, and optimize campaign performance.
- • Utilize quantitative data analysis to interpret campaign results, forecast outcomes, and make data-driven decisions that directly impact business growth.
- • Maintain a customer-centric approach by understanding buyer personas, pain points, and value propositions across diverse roles within enterprise organizations.
- • Demonstrate strong project management skills to handle multiple concurrent campaigns, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
- • Maintain a builder’s mindset with bias to action, ownership of outcomes, and meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
- • Simplify complex strategies into clear, actionable plans and drive cross-functional alignment through effective communication.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 4 years in global campaign management or demand generation
- • Demonstrable experience building and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue, including hands-on ABM program execution
- • Proficiency in digital marketing channels: SEM/PPC, paid social, retargeting
- • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- • Strong analytical skills with expertise in campaign data analysis, multi-touch attribution, ROI/VOI reporting, and quantitative forecasting
- • Strategic business acumen with ability to align marketing tactics with business goals and speak fluently to financial impact
