- • Manage complex immigration and mobility cases across the EMEA region, serving as the primary expert for employees and managers navigating relocation requirements under diverse legal frameworks.
- • Own and lead end-to-end regional mobility and immigration programs, ensuring alignment with global business objectives, company strategy, and compliance standards.
- • Proactively monitor and interpret evolving immigration regulations across European, Middle Eastern, and African countries to mitigate compliance risks and ensure timely, accurate processing of work authorizations.
- • Partner with external immigration vendors and legal advisors to maintain full regulatory alignment and optimize service delivery for employees relocating across borders.
- • Streamline regional workflows by designing and implementing scalable tools, standardized templates, and automated systems to improve operational efficiency and reduce time-to-hire for globally mobile talent.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, Legal, Finance, Payroll, and Equity teams to integrate mobility initiatives into broader HR and business processes.
- • Serve as the go-to point of contact for escalations related to immigration delays, visa denials, or complex relocation scenarios, delivering empathetic, human-first support to employees and managers.
- • Translate complex legal, tax, and immigration terminology into clear, actionable guidance for non-specialist stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- • Drive continuous improvement in mobility processes by analyzing case data, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending systemic enhancements that scale with Deliveroo’s global workforce growth.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EMEA labor laws, tax implications, social security agreements, and reporting obligations related to international assignments and cross-border employment.
- • Support the integration of mobility strategy with broader talent acquisition goals, ensuring that immigration pathways facilitate the hiring and retention of critical global talent.
- • Advocate for a seamless, consistent, and compliant employee experience across all stages of international mobility, from pre-move planning through post-arrival onboarding.
- • Work within a global structure that includes DoorDash and Wolt teams, coordinating with international counterparts to harmonize practices and share best practices across regions.
- • Contribute to the development of global mobility policies and procedures that reflect regional nuances while maintaining corporate standards and risk controls.
- • Respond swiftly to dynamic business needs, adjusting priorities and resources to support rapid expansion, new market entries, or urgent relocation requests in fast-paced environments.
