  • • Own the global strategy and roadmap for QuidelOrtho’s Informatics portfolio, translating complex laboratory data challenges into scalable software and middleware solutions that improve patient outcomes and laboratory efficiency across 130+ countries.
  • • Lead cross-functional teams spanning R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and regional commercial leaders to define, prioritize, and launch new Informatics offerings such as Results Manager and QuidelOrtho Hub, ensuring seamless integration with Clinical Laboratories, Immunohematology, and Point-of-Care platforms.
  • • Translate voice-of-customer insights from hospital networks, reference labs, and blood banks into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, balancing regulatory constraints, cybersecurity standards, and commercial viability.
  • • Create high-impact sales enablement assets—competitive battle cards, ROI calculators, whitepapers, and demo scripts—that arm a global sales force with crisp, differentiated value propositions focused on laboratory throughput, error reduction, and total cost of ownership.
  • • Drive annual marketing plans that quantify market size, segmentation, competitive dynamics, and revenue forecasts for each Informatics product line; update models quarterly to reflect shifting reimbursement landscapes, technology trends, and customer buying patterns.
  • • Orchestrate end-to-end product launches, from beta-site recruitment and protocol design to KOL advocacy, digital campaigns, and post-launch VOC collection, ensuring >95 % on-time delivery and rapid global adoption.
  • • Champion product lifecycle excellence by monitoring KPI dashboards (uptime, NPS, complaint rates, recurring revenue) and leading root-cause analyses with Quality and Customer Technical Services to resolve issues quickly and protect brand reputation.
  • • Partner with regional marketing and service teams to localize positioning, pricing, and training materials, ensuring consistent messaging across North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC while respecting cultural nuances and regulatory differences.
  • • Influence without authority by presenting data-driven recommendations to senior executives, securing budget, headcount, and roadmap prioritization for Informatics initiatives that accelerate the shift from stand-alone instruments to integrated ecosystems.
  • • Serve as the primary liaison to external scientific thought leaders, user groups, and standards bodies (HL7, IHE, AABB), translating emerging informatics standards into product enhancements that keep QuidelOrtho ahead of regulatory and customer expectations.
  • • Mentor junior product managers and marketing associates, fostering a culture of curiosity, analytical rigor, and customer obsession that elevates the entire Clinical Labs business unit.
  • • Travel up to 25 %—including customer site visits, global congresses, and internal summits—to gather firsthand insights, evangelize new solutions, and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders and distributor partners.
