- ⢠As Global Safety Senior Director for PV-Obesity at Amgen, you will provide strategic oversight for all major regulatory safety submissions and benefit-risk management for the obesity portfolio, directly contributing to the development and lifecycle management of innovative medicines that address serious patient needs.
- ⢠You will lead the safety strategy and Benefit/Risk Management Process for assigned products, chair or participate in safety governance meetings, oversee Global Safety Officers and Physicians, and ensure inspection readiness while representing Amgen in health authority interactions and cross-functional decision-making bodies.

- ⢠In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global pharmacovigilance, regulatory strategy, and benefit-risk evaluation while developing leadership capabilities in managing high-performing safety teams and influencing enterprise-level safety decisions that shape product lifecycle strategies.
šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Doctorate degree and 5 years of global safety experience, OR Masterās degree and 9 years, OR Bachelorās degree and 11 years of global safety experience
- ⢠Minimum 5 years of experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects, programs, or directing resource allocation
- ⢠Preferred: MD or DO degree with 6 years of related experience, or PhD with 15 years of directly related experience
- ⢠Preferred: Clinical experience in academic or private practice (including hospital-based) setting
- ⢠Preferred: Experience in Obesity and/or Cardiometabolic conditions
