- • Support and execute governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities to reduce organizational risk and ensure adherence to internal and external regulatory obligations.
- • Document compliance control requirements and validate the effectiveness of existing controls through process reviews and evidence collection.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Cloud Operations, Business Operations, Product Management, Sales, and Software Development to gather and validate compliance artifacts.
- • Participate in annual and ad-hoc risk assessments with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize risk exposure.
- • Contribute to achieving and maintaining compliance certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS through documentation, audit preparation, and evidence management.
- • Identify control deficiencies and track remediation efforts to closure, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and compliance gaps.
- • Assess third-party vendors for security and compliance alignment by reviewing assessment questionnaires, attestation documents, and security artifacts.
- • Support business continuity testing, data mapping, and disaster recovery exercises as part of organizational resilience planning.
- • Assist in the coordination and execution of the security awareness training program, including creating security advisories and facilitating simulated phishing campaigns.
- • Review and update security and compliance policies and procedures to align with business needs and industry best practices.
- • Develop and maintain information security metrics and dashboards to demonstrate KPI adherence and compliance posture to leadership and auditors.
- • Respond to customer security and compliance questionnaires by collaborating with internal teams to provide accurate, timely, and complete responses.
- • Leverage GRC automation platforms to streamline compliance workflows and improve efficiency in evidence collection and reporting.
- • Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and MS Copilot to enhance productivity in documentation, analysis, and communication tasks.
- • Translate complex security and compliance concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent projects, deadlines, and priorities with precision and professionalism.
- • Demonstrate attention to detail, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to learning new compliance frameworks and technologies.
- • Ensure all compliance activities reflect current regulatory requirements including GDPR, CCPA, NIST CSF, CIS Top 20, ISO 27701, and ISO 42001.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in an Information Security or GRC role
- • Experience with regulatory frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, GDPR, and CCPA
- • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and experience using GRC automation platforms
