- • The GPRT Research Specialist Lead is a purpose-driven role at Prime Therapeutics, a pharmacy benefit manager focused on connecting care beyond profits, where the incumbent researches and resolves complex member escalations while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- • Day to day, the role involves evaluating sensitive cases, guiding research strategies and documentation standards, reviewing case correspondence for clarity and compliance, assessing escalation needs, contributing to performance reporting, and identifying process improvements to enhance case handling effectiveness.
- • The team operates within Prime Therapeutics’ member services or appeals resolution function, supporting consistent, high-quality outcomes in a regulated healthcare environment focused on member advocacy and operational excellence.
- • The person can develop deep expertise in benefit plan interpretation, grievances, strengthen analytical and communication skills, influence process quality initiatives, and grow as a subject matter expert in member issue resolution within a mission-driven PBM organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School diploma or equivalent GED
- • 4 years of work experience in customer service, benefit plans, grievances or appeals
- • Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
- • Strong organizational, analytical, interpretive, problem solving and time management skills
- • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including conflict resolution and listening skills
- • Ability to work under strict timelines while managing priorities simultaneously
