Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the Iowa-Nebraska territory as the single point of accountability for GRAIL’s revolutionary multi-cancer early detection (MCED) product, Galleri. You will live in-market (Des Moines, Omaha, or surrounding areas) and spend >85 % of your time in physician practices, clinics, and health-system offices, evangelizing a brand-new category of cancer screening that can detect more than 50 cancers from a single blood draw.
- • Act as a true “market builder.” You will not simply detail an existing product—you will educate, persuade, and coach primary-care physicians and their clinical teams to rethink decades-old screening paradigms, integrate Galleri into routine workflows, and consistently offer it to appropriate patients. Every conversation you have has the potential to shift the trajectory of cancer mortality in your community.
- • Develop and execute a data-driven business plan that identifies the highest-value targets, sequences outreach, and allocates promotional resources to maximize territory growth. You will forecast accurately, track KPIs in Salesforce, and iterate weekly with your District Manager to refine tactics and exceed sales goals.
- • Prospect and onboard early-adopter practices, concierge-medicine groups, and integrated health-system accounts. You will map decision-makers, uncover unmet needs, and craft tailored value propositions that resonate with clinicians, administrators, and billing staff alike.
- • Translate complex genomic science into crisp, compelling messages. Working side-by-side with Medical Science Liaisons, you will distill peer-reviewed data, health-economic evidence, and real-world case studies into stories that motivate behavioral change at the point of care.
- • Orchestrate flawless implementation once a practice says “yes.” You will coordinate with Customer Success, Billing, and Lab Operations to ensure seamless test ordering, specimen logistics, results reporting, and patient follow-up—turning early adopters into vocal champions who refer colleagues and drive organic growth.
- • Plan and execute local educational events, dinner programs, grand-rounds presentations, and digital campaigns that amplify awareness and generate qualified leads. You will manage vendors, control spend within budget, and measure ROI to refine future programming.
- • Serve as the “voice of the customer” to headquarters. You will synthesize field insights on competitive activity, reimbursement trends, workflow barriers, and product enhancements, feeding directly into national strategy, marketing collateral, and cross-functional roadmaps.
- • Collaborate daily with a diverse, high-performing commercial team that includes District Managers, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Customer Support. You will share best practices, replicate winning plays, and foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual accountability.
- • Embrace the pace, ambiguity, and excitement of a high-growth startup. You will juggle multiple priorities, pivot quickly based on new data, and maintain unwavering focus on GRAIL’s mission: to detect cancer early, when it can be cured.
