- ā¢ GRC Analyst (Governance Risk & Compliance) role focused on leading security incident response and supporting broader GRC initiatives at Pax8, a fast-growing cloud marketplace.
- ā¢ Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as Incident Commander during US hours, triaging and coordinating responses across engineering, IT, and security teams, maintaining incident records, driving corrective actions, supporting compliance evidence collection for SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and NIST CSF, managing technology risk assessments, and contributing to business continuity efforts.

- ā¢ The role offers the opportunity to build and shape the incident response function from the ground up, grow into a recognised Incident Commander within 12 months, gain hands-on experience across modern GRC frameworks, and develop judgement that turns junior analysts into trusted advisors through ownership of corrective actions and AI-enhanced workflows.
šÆ Requirements
- ā¢ Reasonable experience in security, IT, audit, compliance, or a related field (internships and rotational programmes count)
- ā¢ Strong written and verbal communication ā able to document incident timelines clearly and concisely while events unfold
- ā¢ Confidence to guide senior stakeholders on the next right step during incidents
- ā¢ Willingness to participate in a shared on-call rotation, including occasional nights and weekends
- ā¢ A Bachelorās degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
