📋 Description
- • As a GRC Analyst, Privacy at Clay Labs Inc., you will play a critical role in safeguarding the company’s data privacy and compliance posture by managing data subject requests, interpreting evolving privacy regulations, and ensuring adherence to global standards such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. Your work directly supports Clay’s mission to enable responsible, innovative growth by maintaining trust with customers, partners, and regulators through rigorous governance, risk, and compliance practices.
- • Day to day, you will execute and optimize processes for handling data subject access requests (DSARs), including data deletion, opt-outs, and access inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses in compliance with legal requirements; stay current with privacy frameworks like GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and emerging state laws to guide internal practices and policy updates; assist in responding to customer security and privacy questionnaires, particularly those focused on data protection and compliance, to support sales and customer success efforts; monitor and maintain compliance using the Vanta platform by uploading evidence of controls, refreshing policies, and escalating technical remediation needs to engineering teams; conduct third-party risk assessments by collaborating with vendors and partners to identify, monitor, and improve risk postures over time; perform regular privacy risk reviews, contribute to internal audits, and prepare clear compliance status reports for leadership and stakeholders; and work cross-functionally with legal, engineering, and customer success teams to embed privacy-by-design principles and resolve compliance gaps efficiently.
- • Clay Labs Inc. is a fast-growing, innovative AI-powered growth platform backed by Sequoia, CapitalG, and First Round, with over $100M in revenue and a $5B valuation following its 2026 tender offer. The company serves thousands of customers including Anthropic, Notion, Google, and Ramp, and fosters a uniquely creative culture where employees are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work — whether as DJs, activists, writers, or marathoners — supported by access to world-class coaches in creativity, management, and more. Clay’s operating principles, such as negative maintenance and non-attached action, guide a work environment that values autonomy, experimentation, and ethical responsibility.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global privacy law application within a high-growth SaaS environment, gain hands-on experience with leading compliance automation tools like Vanta, and develop strategic influence by advising cross-functional teams on privacy-by-design and risk mitigation. You will have the opportunity to shape scalable compliance processes, contribute to audit readiness, and advance your career in GRC and privacy through exposure to complex regulatory landscapes and innovative business models at a company at the forefront of AI-driven growth.
