As a Group Product Manager for our Product Fintech & Strategic Extensions team, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the strategy for our payment products, directly impacting millions of people worldwide and shaping how thousands of customers experience Remote.
  • • **Lead Vision and Strategy for Payment Solutions:** You will be the driving force behind the vision, roadmap, and delivery of our payment products and services. This involves deeply understanding the payments landscape, identifying market opportunities, and translating them into a compelling product strategy that aligns with Remote's overall vision and business goals. You will be responsible for ensuring our payment solutions are innovative, intuitive, and delightful for our customers.
  • • **Drive Product Development with a Hands-On Approach:** This role is both strategic and deeply hands-on. You will not just define the 'what' and 'why,' but also actively participate in the 'how.' You'll roll up your sleeves to build, debug, and ship functional code or prototypes, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code. Your ability to autonomously create and iterate on solutions will be crucial in turning bold ideas into tangible impact. You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and support teams to bring these solutions to life.
  • • **Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration and Alignment:** Success in this role requires exceptional collaboration. You will partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, legal, finance, and operations leaders to prioritize, design, and build best-in-class product experiences. Your ability to communicate effectively and drive alignment across diverse teams will be key to achieving our ambitious goals.
  • • **Manage and Mentor a Team of Product Managers:** As a Group Product Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of talented product managers. 🎯 Requirements

  • • Extensive and demonstrated product management experience, including leading teams and delivering successful product launches.
  • • Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code is required. You must be able to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code/prototypes, not just write specs.
  • • Deep expertise in the payments space—industry trends, technologies, regulatory considerations, and the competitive landscape.
  • • Strong leadership and people-management skills: you drive meaningful outcomes by enabling and elevating others.
  • • Exceptionally hands-on: you're comfortable rolling up your sleeves, digging deep into complex problems, and owning the details when needed—not just directing others.
