đź“‹ Description
- • As a Group Product Manager at Remote, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of global employment by leading and overseeing the strategic direction and development of our core HR products and services. This is a pivotal role where you will have a profound impact on our organization and contribute to creating opportunities for millions of people worldwide. You will be instrumental in driving the vision, roadmap, and execution of our HR solutions, ensuring they are not only aligned with Remote's overarching business objectives but also deeply resonate with the evolving needs of our global customer base.
- • Your primary focus will be on the HR Core product area, which is fundamental to how businesses manage their international workforce. This includes ensuring seamless onboarding, compliance, payroll integration, and overall employee lifecycle management for companies operating across borders. You will be responsible for defining what success looks like for these critical functions and guiding your team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- • You will collaborate intimately with a diverse range of cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, legal, finance, and customer support. This collaborative approach is essential for delivering innovative, user-centric, and robust HR experiences that set new industry standards. Your ability to foster strong partnerships and drive alignment across these departments will be key to your success.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve strategic thinking and market analysis. You will be expected to stay ahead of industry trends, understand competitive landscapes, and identify emerging opportunities within the global HR tech space. This insight will inform your product strategy, enabling you to make data-driven decisions and prioritize initiatives that deliver maximum value.
- • Leading and mentoring a team of talented Product Managers is a core responsibility. You will guide their professional development, foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within your team, and ensure they are empowered to achieve ambitious goals. Your leadership will be crucial in nurturing a high-performing product organization.
- • You will own the product strategy for your domain, translating the company's vision into a clear, actionable roadmap. This involves defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and managing the product lifecycle from ideation through to launch and iteration. You will be the champion for your product area, advocating for its needs and ensuring its successful adoption.
- • Monitoring product performance is critical. You will define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for your product area, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, innovation, and growth. This data-driven approach will ensure that our HR Core products continuously evolve to meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.
- • As a Group Product Manager, you will also act as a product evangelist. This involves actively promoting and advocating for your product area both internally and externally. You will present to stakeholders, engage with customers, and potentially represent Remote at industry events, sharing insights and building excitement around our HR solutions.
- • Given Remote's commitment to innovation and leveraging cutting-edge technology, you will be expected to integrate automation and AI capabilities into the product development process and the products themselves. This includes exploring how these technologies can enhance user experience, improve efficiency, and provide deeper insights for our customers.
- • You will be responsible for ensuring that our HR Core products are not only functional and compliant but also intuitive and delightful to use. A strong customer-centric mindset is paramount, as you will be the voice of the customer within the product development process, ensuring their needs are at the heart of every decision.
- • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and fully remote environment is essential. You will need to be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity, making decisive actions, and driving progress asynchronously.
- • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are vital for collaborating effectively with a globally distributed team and ensuring fast progress and clear decision-making across different time zones and cultures.
- • You will be empowered to take ownership, be proactive, and default to action. Your work-life balance is highly valued, and you will be encouraged to prioritize your well-being and family needs, fitting work around your life.
🎯 Requirements
- • Extensive experience in product management, with a proven track record of managing teams and successful product launches, particularly within the B2B SaaS industry.
- • Proficiency in using AI-powered coding assistants like Cursor and/or Claude Code to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code/prototypes, not just write specifications.
- • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to guide the contributions of others to achieve significant objectives.
- • Strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable product plans.
- • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
- • Outstanding written communication and collaboration skills, enabling fast progress and decision-making.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Work from anywhere in the world.
- • Flexible paid time off and flexible working hours, embracing an asynchronous work culture.
- • 16 weeks paid parental leave.
- • Mental health support services.
- • Stock options and a learning budget.
- • Home office budget and IT equipment provision.
