- • As the Group Product Manager (GPM) for Salesforce at Forward Financing, you will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction and operational efficiency of our core business engine. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will not merely manage a product backlog, but rather architect the overarching vision for how our Salesforce platform empowers our mission to accelerate capital for small businesses across America.
- • You will lead and mentor a dedicated team of Product Managers, fostering their growth and ensuring their success in executing complex initiatives. Your leadership will be key in cultivating a high-performing product management function.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve optimizing the Salesforce ecosystem, which includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud integrations. Your strategic configuration of these components will be critical in maintaining and enhancing our competitive advantage for both internal teams and our valued channel partners.
- • You will serve as the primary conduit between executive leadership and our technical teams, including Engineering and DevOps. This involves translating high-level business objectives and strategic 'whys' into actionable technical requirements and implementation plans, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across departments.
- • A core responsibility will be mastering the 'buy versus build' decision-making process. You will lead thorough due diligence on potential third-party AppExchange integrations, meticulously evaluating them against custom Apex and LWC development efforts to ensure the long-term health, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of our platform.
- • Driving data-informed decisions is paramount. You will define, track, and leverage complex Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion velocity, system uptime, and user adoption rates. These metrics will be crucial for prioritizing the product roadmap, measuring success, and reporting progress and strategic insights to the C-suite.
- • You will act as a proactive evangelist for the Salesforce platform across the entire organization. By building deep trust and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, you will champion Salesforce best practices, educate teams on its capabilities, and demonstrate the transformative power of the platform in achieving our business goals.
- • This role demands a strategic mindset to develop and drive a comprehensive product strategy and technical roadmap for the Salesforce platform, ensuring it directly supports and aligns with Forward Financing's ambitious growth objectives.
- • You will be responsible for overseeing the strategic evolution of our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring it is robust enough to support massive scale and evolving business needs. This includes partnering closely with DevOps and Platform Engineers to guarantee our infrastructure is as agile and responsive as our business operations.
- • Your technical literacy will enable you to effectively bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring that our Salesforce implementation remains a powerful tool for driving efficiency and growth.
- • By championing a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making, you will empower our internal teams to leverage Salesforce to its fullest potential, ultimately contributing to our mission of unlocking capital for small businesses.
- • This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction of a critical internal platform within a rapidly growing fintech company, making a tangible impact on the success of thousands of small businesses nationwide.
- • You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest Salesforce innovations and industry trends, incorporating them into our platform strategy where appropriate to maintain our competitive edge.
- • The role requires a deep understanding of how Salesforce integrates with other critical business systems, ensuring a cohesive and efficient technology stack.
- • You will play a key role in defining the user experience for internal stakeholders, ensuring that the Salesforce platform is intuitive, efficient, and a pleasure to use.
- • Ultimately, your success will be measured by the platform's ability to scale, its adoption by internal users, and its direct contribution to Forward Financing's growth and mission.
