  • • Own the end-to-end product strategy for subscription renewals and revenue growth across JioHotstar’s 500-million-plus global user base, translating ambitious ARPU and churn-reduction targets into a living, quarterly product roadmap that is measurable, experiment-driven, and clearly communicated to C-suite stakeholders.
  • • Lead a cross-functional squad of product managers, analysts, engineers, designers, and data scientists to ideate, prioritize, and ship high-impact features—ranging from AI-powered churn prediction models to localized payment flows—that demonstrably lift renewal rates and lifetime value in 25+ countries.
  • • Translate abstract, high-level business goals (e.g., “reduce monthly churn by 2% in FY25”) into granular, testable hypotheses; design A/B and multivariate experiments, own statistical rigor, and socialize learnings across the organization to institutionalize a culture of data-backed decision making.
  • • Build and maintain a sophisticated experimentation framework that continuously surfaces user-level insights from behavioral funnels, payment drop-offs, and engagement heat-maps; convert these insights into product specs that engineering can execute against with minimal rework.
  • • Collaborate with regional marketing, customer support, and content teams to craft hyper-personalized retention campaigns—leveraging push, email, in-app, and WhatsApp channels—ensuring messaging, offers, and creative assets are aligned with local cultural nuances and regulatory constraints.
  • • Architect scalable, multi-tenant subscription management systems that gracefully handle D2C and wholesale (telco/OTT bundle) use cases, while remaining resilient to traffic spikes during marquee sporting events like IPL or ICC tournaments that can see 10Ă— normal load.
  • • Champion payment innovation by piloting alternative payment methods (UPI AutoPay, carrier billing, e-wallets, BNPL, crypto where legal) and optimizing recurring billing flows to reduce involuntary churn; negotiate with external PSPs and fintech partners to secure preferential rates and SLAs.
  • • Establish a transparent OKR and KPI dashboard that tracks renewal rate, ARPU, involuntary churn, payment success rate, and feature adoption; review metrics weekly with leadership, course-correct rapidly, and celebrate wins to sustain team morale.
  • • Mentor and up-skill a team of associate and senior PMs, instilling best practices in product discovery, PRD writing, stakeholder management, and agile rituals; conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and succession planning to build a world-class product organization.
  • • Represent JioHotstar externally at industry conferences, fintech forums, and subscription economy roundtables, evangelizing our retention innovations and gathering competitive intelligence to feed back into the roadmap.
