- • Join Toast, Inc.'s dynamic and rapidly expanding Customer Growth (Upsell) Sales team, where you will play a pivotal role in empowering existing SMB Toast POS customers to achieve greater success through the adoption of our comprehensive product suite.
- • As a Growth Account Executive, you will be entrusted with managing a dedicated book of existing SMB customers. Your primary objective will be to drive significant revenue growth by identifying and closing expansion opportunities, fostering deeper product adoption, and ensuring our clients maximize the value they derive from the Toast platform.
- • This is a full-cycle sales role, demanding a proactive and strategic approach from initial outbound prospecting through to contract negotiation and final close. You will be the primary point of contact for your clients, guiding them through the process of enhancing their Toast ecosystem.
- • You will leverage consultative selling techniques, conducting in-depth discovery sessions to thoroughly understand each customer's unique pain points, operational challenges, and overarching business goals. This deep understanding will enable you to expertly position Toast's expanded product offerings as the ideal solutions.
- • A key responsibility will be achieving and consistently exceeding ambitious sales quotas, meeting and surpassing monthly revenue and unit booking targets. Your success will be directly measured by your ability to drive measurable growth within your assigned customer portfolio.
- • Meticulous pipeline management is crucial. You will maintain a highly organized and up-to-date sales pipeline, diligently tracking all activities within Salesforce CRM and other essential sales enablement tools to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- • Developing and maintaining a strong command of the market and our product suite is essential. You will cultivate a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, enabling you to effectively articulate Toast's unique value proposition and differentiate our solutions from alternatives.
- • Seamless cross-functional collaboration is vital for success. You will partner closely with New Business, Services, and Implementation teams to ensure a smooth and positive customer journey, from initial sale through to successful onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
- • You will apply strategic sales methodologies, such as Sandler, to uncover customer needs, demonstrate value, create compelling business cases, and drive urgency in your sales process.
- • This role offers a primarily remote work arrangement, allowing you to operate from home. However, it also requires occasional travel to your assigned territory(s) for in-field client engagement and relationship building.
- • You will be instrumental in helping restaurant and local business owners navigate the complexities of the digital world, enabling them to operate more efficiently, increase sales, engage their customers more effectively, and keep their employees happy through the power of Toast technology.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven sales acumen with 2+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in a closing role (e.g., Business Development Representative, Account Executive), consistently meeting and exceeding monthly sales performance goals.
- • Demonstrated success in a high-velocity or high-volume, transactional B2B SaaS sales environment.
- • Expertise in full-cycle sales skills, including deep discovery, compelling storytelling, persuasive negotiation, and effective closing techniques.
- • Consultative approach with the ability to act as a strategic consultant, challenging prospects' perspectives and driving new ways of thinking about their business.
- • Growth and ownership mindset: highly self-motivated, competitive, resilient, and taking strong ownership of results.
- • Exceptional communication skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, coupled with strong time management and organizational abilities.
