- • This position is instrumental in delivering Lexia's proven literacy solutions, encompassing innovative student-facing software, comprehensive professional learning for educators, and expert implementation services.
- • You will be the primary point of contact, cultivating deep, trusted relationships with education leaders while embodying a proactive, 'hunter's mindset' to identify and close new business opportunities.

- • Initiate and develop meaningful, strategic relationships with high-level decision-makers within the education market, understanding their unique challenges and aspirations.
- • Develop, meticulously manage, and execute a comprehensive territory plan designed to achieve ambitious quota targets and align with company strategic goals, encompassing both greenfield (new) and established accounts.
- • Proactively identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your existing customer base.
- • Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless product adoption, demonstrate measurable impact, and guarantee renewal success, fostering enduring partnerships.
- • Deliver compelling, persuasive in-person and virtual presentations to district-level stakeholders, articulating Lexia’s pedagogical approach, robust research foundation, and demonstrable student outcomes.
- • Build and maintain strong, influential relationships with key figures such as superintendents, curriculum directors, technology leaders, and procurement officers to effectively guide and secure buying decisions.
- • Craft professional, tailored proposals and strategic communications that directly address district goals, funding sources, and specific instructional needs, showcasing Lexia as the ideal solution.
- • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to devise creative, data-informed strategies that effectively tackle district challenges and significantly improve student literacy outcomes.
- • Partner with the sales leadership team to refine strategies, share best practices, and continuously enhance the team's overall success and performance.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Salesforce, diligently manage your sales pipeline, and provide reliable forecasts and valuable market insights to leadership.
- • Conduct thorough reviews of territory trends, funding shifts (e.g., ESSER, Title I), and the competitive landscape to inform strategic planning, positioning, and proactive engagement.
- • Act as a thought leader and brand ambassador for Lexia by representing the company at regional conferences, webinars, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate future sales pipeline.
- • Strategically balance travel up to 50% within your territory with the effective use of virtual engagement tools to maximize stakeholder interaction and sales productivity.
- • Leverage your understanding of academic calendars, funding cycles, and district priorities to align your territory plan for maximum impact and quota attainment.
- • Drive new business acquisition by effectively demonstrating the value proposition of Lexia's literacy solutions to prospective clients.
- • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by fostering strong relationships and ensuring clients achieve their desired educational outcomes.
- • Stay abreast of the latest trends and research in literacy education to provide expert guidance and solutions to educators.
- • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing sales team environment, sharing insights and supporting colleagues.
