- • Own the end-to-end growth engine for Goodie, reporting directly to the CEO, and serve as the primary architect of brand, product, and performance marketing strategy.
- • Define and execute Goodie’s brand narrative, positioning, and messaging across all audiences and channels, ensuring alignment with product launches and feature releases.
- • Maintain continuous competitive intelligence on AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) and the broader AEO/GEO landscape to inform marketing strategy and product differentiation.
- • Directly own and improve Goodie’s AEO and SEO performance, treating the company’s own visibility as a living product that must be optimized daily.
- • Plan, write briefs for, analyze, and iterate on paid media campaigns with hands-on involvement in creative testing, audience targeting, and messaging refinement.
- • Run a high-velocity experimentation program with statistically rigorous hypotheses, documented learnings, and clear KPIs tied to acquisition and conversion metrics.
- • Build and maintain the full marketing measurement stack independently: configure GA4, design attribution models, and create leadership dashboards that connect every marketing dollar to revenue.
- • Develop proprietary data models to identify high-impact metrics, eliminate noise, and ruthlessly optimize marketing spend based on defensible attribution.
- • Design and implement automations, workflows, and internal tools to scale marketing throughput without proportional headcount growth.
- • Leverage AI tools across the entire marketing funnel — from research and content generation to outreach, reporting, and competitive analysis — to enhance efficiency and insight.
- • Treat the marketing function as a software product: ship, measure, iterate rapidly, and embed a culture of continuous optimization.
- • Manage day-to-day coordination with the external growth marketing agency: set priorities, assign work, hold them accountable to KPIs, and ensure integrated execution across paid, SEO/AEO, content, and creative.
- • Operate as an extension of the agency team, executing alongside them rather than managing from above — writing briefs, reviewing creatives, analyzing performance, and refining strategy in real time.
- • Translate complex AI search technology into compelling, customer-facing narratives that resonate with enterprise buyers and industry thought leaders.
- • Lead cross-functional alignment between marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure cohesive messaging and seamless funnel progression.
- • Continuously evaluate market shifts in AI search behavior and adapt marketing tactics to maintain relevance, visibility, and competitive advantage.
- • Serve as the single point of ownership for top-of-funnel awareness and bottom-of-funnel conversion metrics, with direct accountability to the CEO for growth outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in growth, performance marketing, or hybrid marketing roles, ideally at an early-stage B2B SaaS company, with a clear track record of owning and hitting a growth metric
- • Hands-on technical comfort: ability to set up tracking and attribution infrastructure, build and iterate on landing pages without engineering support, and construct data models without relying on analysts or dashboard creators
- • Deep SEO background with hands-on AEO or GEO experience, or strong intuition for how AI models surface and cite brand content; proven experience running structured experimentation programs with documented hypotheses and learnings
- • Proven, daily use of AI tools across personal workflow; experience managing teams or agencies to clear KPIs
- • Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex technology into compelling narratives for customers and market audiences
- • Experience building or scaling a marketing function from an early foundation
