  • • As the Growth Marketing Lead at ClassDojo, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the strategy for acquiring new families to our innovative consumer products: Dojo Sparks and Dojo Islands. This role is designed for a highly autonomous, entrepreneurial individual who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and possesses a builder's mindset. You will be the primary driver of external user acquisition, focusing on repeatable and scalable methods to reach and convert families who are not yet familiar with the ClassDojo ecosystem.
  • • Your core responsibility will be to set the strategic direction for new user acquisition across both paid and unpaid channels, with an initial emphasis on leveraging social media and influencer partnerships. This is a hands-on, execution-focused position where you will personally manage growth experiments from inception to completion. This includes defining clear hypotheses, launching tests, meticulously analyzing results, and making critical decisions on whether to scale successful initiatives or discontinue underperforming ones.
  • • You will be tasked with identifying and validating novel acquisition channels. This process will begin with scrappy, manual approaches to test viability, followed by scaling successful strategies through the effective use of agencies, modern tooling, and automation. A key aspect of your role will be to establish and maintain clear success metrics and robust ROI thresholds, which will serve as the guiding principles for investment and prioritization decisions.
  • • Collaboration will be central to your success. You will work closely with leaders in Product, Creative, and Product Marketing to refine and test value propositions, optimize landing page experiences, and enhance onboarding flows to maximize conversion rates. Furthermore, you will partner with another growth leader who focuses on the internal ClassDojo network growth, ensuring a cohesive approach to overall company expansion.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will involve building a durable experimentation and measurement framework. This framework will be designed to enable rapid iteration across various aspects of our marketing efforts, including messaging, targeting parameters, and funnel optimization. You will be encouraged to leverage external resources and cutting-edge tools, including AI, to amplify your impact without the need for extensive internal team expansion.
  • • Beyond immediate acquisition goals, you will play a crucial role in shaping the long-term growth marketing capabilities at ClassDojo. As your impact is demonstrated and proven, there will be opportunities to take on people leadership responsibilities, guiding and mentoring a growing team.
  • • This role demands a deep understanding of consumer marketing dynamics and a proven ability to drive measurable growth.
