- • Lead the experimentation engine for Abacum’s growth function by identifying and validating new, untapped channels for pipeline generation, including paid acquisition, SEO, AEO, content syndication, partner distribution, and emerging platforms.
- • Design and own a structured experimentation program where every initiative begins with a clear hypothesis, measurable success criteria, and a documented outcome—no campaign calendar, only data-driven discovery.
- • Rapidly build, test, and iterate on growth initiatives with speed and precision, killing underperforming experiments quickly and scaling winners into repeatable, scalable demand engines.
- • Operate AI-natively by designing and implementing automated workflows using tools like Clay, n8n, and AI-powered systems to replace manual processes and reduce the cost of future experiments.
- • Instrument all experiments from day one with tracking, attribution, and KPIs; own the interpretation of results and make the final call on whether to continue, pivot, or shut down a channel.
- • Translate winning growth tactics into documented, scalable playbooks that become the foundation for the broader demand generation team to execute consistently and efficiently.
- • Identify and pursue high-leverage opportunities in the FP&A software market, where CFOs and finance leaders are skeptical of traditional B2B marketing channels and require trust-based, high-signal outreach.
- • Build infrastructure that enables the growth team to move faster, cheaper, and more systematically—prioritizing automation, data integrity, and repeatable processes over one-off campaigns.
- • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams to align experimentation goals with overall business objectives and ensure insights inform broader strategy.
- • Maintain a bias for action and comfort with ambiguity; proactively seek out problems to solve rather than waiting for direction, and build solutions from first principles.
- • Stay ahead of how AI is reshaping demand generation, leveraging emerging tools and techniques to stay ahead of market shifts and outpace competitors adapting slowly.
- • Own the outcome of pipeline growth without relying on others to interpret data or make strategic calls—your analysis directly determines the direction of the function.
- • Continuously refine the growth playbook by documenting learnings, standardizing successful tactics, and handing off scalable motions to operational teams while moving on to the next unsolved problem.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience designing and executing high-velocity growth experiments across multiple channels (paid, SEO, AEO, partnerships, etc.) in a B2B SaaS environment
- • Strong technical and analytical skills with fluency in data interpretation, metric-driven decision-making, and building measurement frameworks from scratch
- • Experience building automated workflows using AI-native tools (e.g., Clay, n8n, AI agents) to replace manual processes and scale growth operations
- • High agency and ownership mindset—proactively identifying opportunities, acting decisively in ambiguity, and owning outcomes without supervision
- • Demonstrated ability to turn experimental wins into scalable, documented playbooks that others can execute
- • Bias for action and comfort operating without a predefined playbook; thrives in early-stage, fast-moving environments
