GTM Engineer - Ecosystem

📋 Description

• • Serve as the embedded GTM Engineering partner for Solutions, Partnerships, and Edu teams, building and owning partner and ecosystem workflow automations including partner identification, co-selling, registration, and account intelligence.
• • Extend Clay’s platform into new use cases by pushing the limits of its infrastructure, dogfooding new features, and acting as a practitioner evangelist for Clay’s GTM Engineering tools.
• • Partner deeply with GTM leaders and frontline teams to understand current revenue motion workflows, identify pain points, and diagnose where systems break down.
• • Own end-to-end projects from discovery and prototyping through rollout, adoption, and iterative improvement, identifying opportunities to automate, augment, or redesign workflows using AI, data, and systems design.
• • Design and implement systems that enhance speed, visibility, data quality, and execution across the sales and partnership funnel by connecting disparate tools via APIs, webhooks, integrations, and automation layers.
• • Measure the performance, adoption rates, and business impact of all deployed systems, using metrics to guide continuous improvement and refinement.
• • Act as an internal thought partner on the future of AI-native go-to-market systems, contributing strategic insights on how AI and automation can reshape GTM operations.
• • Build and maintain automations and AI-powered internal tools that support revenue operations, partnership scaling, and ecosystem growth.
• • Leverage Python, JavaScript, SQL, or TypeScript to develop custom solutions, extract and transform data, and create automated workflows that align with GTM objectives.
• • Work with data warehouses, BI tools, and event-driven systems to ensure clean, reliable data movement across the GTM tech stack.
• • Communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently to non-technical stakeholders while translating business requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams.
• • Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving, hypergrowth environments, driving change rather than simply adapting to it.
• • Provide feedback and product suggestions to the Clay product team based on hands-on usage and observed gaps in the platform’s ecosystem capabilities.
• • Act as a bridge between technical systems and GTM strategy, ensuring that automation efforts directly support revenue goals and partner success.
• • Contribute to a culture of creativity and non-attached action by experimenting with novel approaches, iterating rapidly, and embracing learning from failure.
• • Engage with Clay’s ecosystem of 11,000+ customers, 150+ integration partners, and 125+ agencies to understand real-world use cases and inform system design.
• • Support the evolution of Clay’s community equity round by enabling tools that empower customers, agency partners, and club members through better automation and data workflows.
