  • • Build and own core sales workflow automations including book carving, ROE automation, signal detection, and pipeline automation to enhance seller efficiency and accelerate customer onboarding
  • • Partner directly with the Head of Sales and sales leadership to translate business needs into technical automation requirements, iteratively refining systems based on frontline feedback
  • • Develop tooling that surfaces critical customer context to GSMs at key moments—before QBRs, during renewals, and ahead of expansion conversations—to improve conversion and retention
  • • Extend the Clay platform into new GTM use cases by building custom automations, dogfooding new features, and acting as an internal evangelist for Clay’s infrastructure and capabilities
  • • Collaborate deeply with GTM leaders and frontline teams to map current revenue workflows, identify friction points, and redesign processes using AI, data, and systems thinking
  • • Own end-to-end project delivery from discovery and prototyping through rollout, adoption tracking, and iterative improvement, ensuring solutions are adopted and impactful
  • • Design scalable systems that improve speed, visibility, and data quality across the sales funnel by integrating APIs, webhooks, and automation layers between CRM, data warehouses, and sales tooling
  • • Measure the performance, adoption rates, and business impact of deployed automations using quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback, then refine systems accordingly
  • • Serve as an internal thought partner on the future of AI-native go-to-market systems, proposing innovative applications of AI, agent workflows, and predictive analytics to revenue teams
  • • Pull and analyze proprietary data using Python, JavaScript, SQL, or TypeScript to power automation logic and insight generation
  • • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business objectives into technical specifications and vice versa with clarity and executive presence
  • • Operate autonomously in a hypergrowth environment, embracing ambiguity and proactively driving change without rigid process constraints
  • • Contribute product feedback to the Clay product team based on real-world usage patterns and emerging needs from GTM teams
  • • Advocate for data-driven decision-making across sales and revenue operations by surfacing actionable insights from integrated systems and event-driven triggers
  • • Continuously refine system architecture to reduce manual effort, eliminate data silos, and increase the accuracy and timeliness of information available to sales representatives
  • • Demonstrate mastery of modern sales technologies including Salesforce and adjacent GTM platforms through hands-on development and integration
  • • Maintain a practitioner mindset—building solutions that are not only technically sound but also directly usable and adopted by frontline sales teams
  • • Identify opportunities to augment human judgment with AI-powered automation without replacing human touchpoints in the customer journey
  • • Engage in constant learning and adaptation as Clay’s platform and GTM strategies evolve rapidly in response to market feedback and technological advancements
