- • As Head of Account Management at Freshpaint Inc., you will lead and scale the Enterprise and Strategic Account Management teams to drive net revenue retention, expansion, and customer value across a rapidly growing healthcare data privacy platform. This role is critical to ensuring healthcare organizations can safely adopt modern marketing and analytics tools without compromising compliance, directly supporting Freshpaint’s mission to eliminate the trade-off between growth and privacy in a $4+ trillion U.S. healthcare industry undergoing digital transformation.
- • You will own gross and net retention across the Account Management organization, driving consistent upsell and expansion performance in both Enterprise (scaled) and Strategic (white-glove) segments by establishing clear performance benchmarks for net retention rate, adoption metrics, account health, forecast accuracy, and ARR per rep, while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Support, and CS Engineering to remove friction in renewal and expansion processes.
- • You will segment strategy and engagement models by optimizing cadence, playbooks, automation, and KPI tracking for Enterprise accounts, and standardizing executive engagement, QBR frameworks, and ROI storytelling for Strategic accounts, ensuring clarity on what "good" looks like in each segment and driving structured, proactive account planning and relationship mapping.
- • A core focus of this role is developing managers and building leadership depth, particularly for first-time managers and first-time leaders; you will coach managers on performance management, forecasting discipline, strategic account thinking, executive communication, and accountability, while implementing structured enablement programs, creating clear career paths, and raising talent density through training, certification, and resourcing initiatives.
- • You will drive operational excellence by establishing high-accuracy forecasting systems, ensuring CRM hygiene and pipeline integrity, standardizing account planning, value realization documentation, adoption measurement, QBR structure, and health scoring, building action-oriented dashboards, and maintaining a disciplined operating cadence with weekly forecast calls, performance reviews, account line-by-line reviews, and quarterly business retrospectives.
- • You will ensure every account has a clear value realization strategy, elevate ROI articulation and executive storytelling, embed proactive risk identification, strengthen executive sponsor engagement internally and externally, and serve as a key escalation point for complex strategic accounts.
- • As the voice of the customer internally, you will partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support & Engineering to improve handoffs from implementation to ongoing account management, reduce friction in the customer journey, and align cross-functional teams around customer feedback, roadmap alignment, expansion opportunities, and advocacy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Over 10+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS, customer success, or account management
- • 5+ years leading managers and multi-layer teams with proven experience developing first-time managers into high-performing leaders
- • Demonstrated track record of owning meaningful post-sale revenue targets and improving net revenue retention and expansion metrics
- • Exceptional discipline in forecasting, CRM hygiene, reporting, and building scalable operational systems
- • Comfortable engaging with C-level stakeholders and skilled at coaching teams on executive alignment and consultative value delivery
