- • The WFE Success Coach serves as a one-stop shop to support students through the utilization of their employer’s tuition assistance benefit, providing personalized end-to-end support to guide students toward academic success.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with program advisors for smooth student transitions, conducting regular outbound communication via phone, email, and chat, assisting with goal setting and study habits, monitoring progress, providing feedback, tracking milestones, conducting check-ins, delivering workshops on academic success, and maintaining relationships with students, employers, and educational institutions.
- • The role is part of Strayer University, Inc., a member of Strategic Education, Inc. (SEI), which is committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture where employees can grow their careers and contribute fully.
- • In this role, the person can develop expertise in academic coaching, adult learner support, data-driven progress tracking, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder relationship management while making a tangible impact on students’ educational journeys and career advancement opportunities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree preferred.
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education advising, academic coaching, or a related field.
- • Proven ability to provide effective guidance and support to adult learners and non-traditional students pursuing educational goals.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathetic communication, and proficiency in phone, email, and chat for customer service.
- • Data analysis and reporting skills to track student progress and measure coaching effectiveness.
- • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and lift up to 25 lbs.; regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
