- • Lead and scale the UK Banking Operations function at Unlimit Group Inc., ensuring efficient execution of payment services, safeguarding of client funds, and full compliance with UK regulatory requirements.
- • Oversee operational processes, correspondent banking, payment investigations, reconciliation, and performance of systems supporting banking operations.
- • Collaborate with Treasury, Compliance, AML, Risk, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to fulfill obligations and maintain strong operational controls.
- • Establish and maintain relationships with UK and international correspondent banks, monitor account balances and liquidity, and oversee external service providers.
- • Ensure safeguarding of client funds in accordance with FCA requirements, oversee reconciliation processes, and deliver timely reporting to Executive Management, the Board, and regulators.
- • Drive improvements by tracking industry developments, regulatory changes, and scheme updates, proposing enhancements to Executive Management.
- • Develop and maintain internal procedures, controls, and systems to support departmental responsibilities and ensure operational excellence.
- • Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team in a regulated financial environment focused on payments and banking infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
- • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- • Extensive experience in payments, banking operations, or financial services.
- • Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks (FCA, PSRs, safeguarding, operational resilience).
- • Experience managing teams and operational processes in a regulated environment.
- • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- • High level of computer literacy and familiarity with banking/fintech systems.
