- • Define and evolve Hook’s brand narrative, voice, and positioning to ensure consistency across product, marketing, partnerships, and content touchpoints
- • Lead end-to-end development and execution of high-impact campaigns and cultural moments in collaboration with Growth, Partnerships, and Creative teams
- • Own external communications including PR, announcements, and storytelling, shaping narratives and refining key materials
- • Partner with Creative to set and uphold the creative bar, providing hands-on feedback on campaigns, content, and brand expression
- • Synthesize input from founders and cross-functional teams into clear, actionable brand direction and translate it into execution
- • Collaborate deeply with Product, Growth, and Marketing to align product experience, messaging, and campaigns
- • Shape and execute brand partnerships that reinforce Hook’s cultural relevance and brand identity
- • Operate both strategically and hands-on, moving between defining direction and refining copy, creative, and outputs
🎯 Requirements
- • 8–12+ years of experience in consumer product brand marketing with a track record of building or shaping a consumer internet brand from 0→1 or 1→10
- • Proven ability to define brand positioning, narrative, and messaging and translate it into execution across product, campaigns, and content
- • Experience leading high-impact campaigns or cultural moments end-to-end
- • Strong collaborator who can synthesize input from multiple stakeholders (founder, marketing, creative) into a cohesive direction
- • Experience working cross-functionally with product, growth, and creative teams
- • Strong instincts for taste, culture, and storytelling — knowing what feels right and what doesn’t
