📋 Description
- • Lead the strategic development and execution of commercial and industrial growth initiatives across Germany and key European markets to expand 1KOMMA5°’s market presence in the commercial and industrial solar energy segment.
- • Define and implement go-to-market strategies tailored to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers, including pricing models, sales channels, and partnership frameworks to drive scalable customer acquisition.
- • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to align product offerings, customer messaging, and service delivery with the evolving needs of B2B clients in the renewable energy sector.
- • Build and manage a high-performing commercial growth team, including hiring, mentoring, and setting performance metrics for sales representatives, account managers, and business development specialists.
- • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with system integrators, energy consultants, property developers, and industrial facility operators to expand distribution channels and co-create customer solutions.
- • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in the commercial solar sector to inform product positioning, pricing, and expansion priorities.
- • Develop and monitor KPIs for commercial growth, including customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, pipeline conversion rates, and revenue targets, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- • Represent 1KOMMA5° at industry events, trade fairs, and B2B networking forums to build brand authority and generate qualified leads within the commercial and industrial segments.
- • Work directly with the executive leadership team to align commercial growth objectives with the company’s overall financial and sustainability goals.
- • Oversee the creation and optimization of sales tools, customer onboarding workflows, and contract templates to improve efficiency and scalability in B2B sales operations.
- • Ensure compliance with local energy regulations, tax incentives, and grid connection requirements across target regions to support seamless customer deployment.
- • Drive customer retention and upsell strategies by working with post-sales teams to enhance customer satisfaction and expand service offerings to existing commercial clients.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of solar technology, financing models (e.g., PPAs, leasing), and energy storage integration as they apply to commercial and industrial applications.
- • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting growth metrics, market opportunities, and risks impacting commercial expansion.
- • Act as the primary internal advocate for the commercial and industrial customer segment, ensuring their needs are reflected in product development and service design.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in commercial or industrial solar energy sales, business development, or growth leadership
- • Demonstrated success in building and scaling B2B sales teams and go-to-market strategies in renewable energy
- • Strong understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and financing models for commercial solar projects in Europe
- • Track record of achieving aggressive revenue targets in the clean energy or industrial technology sector
- • Excellent leadership and team management skills with experience in remote team structures
- • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
