- • As the Head of Commercial Strategy for Bloom at Sword Health, you will serve as the external face and internal compass for the company’s AI-powered women’s health solution, shaping how it is perceived and positioned in a highly competitive market. This role is pivotal in establishing Bloom as the unambiguous category leader across health plans, self-insured employers, brokers, consultants, and platform partners by defining its commercial narrative, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market strategy — all without carrying a sales quota, but with outsized influence on revenue outcomes.
- • You will work closely with the General Manager to translate market insights into actionable commercial strategy, ensuring that Bloom’s positioning, messaging, and product evolution are tightly aligned with the needs and perceptions of key buyer personas. Your expertise will directly impact how Sword Health’s sales teams engage with prospects, equipping them with the proof points, relationships, and market intelligence needed to win against entrenched incumbents like Maven Clinic, Midi Health, Progyny, and Carrot Fertility at win rates of 75-80% or higher.
- • Day to day, you will lead the development and execution of Bloom’s commercial strategy, including crafting differentiated value propositions, building competitive battle cards, and designing go-to-market plays tailored to specific buyer segments such as national health plans, Fortune 500 employers, and benefits consultants. You will conduct deep market and competitive analysis to identify white spaces, anticipate shifts in payer and employer priorities, and translate those insights into recommendations for product, pricing, and positioning.
- • You will act as the primary external ambassador for Bloom, representing the solution at industry conferences, executive briefings, partner meetings, and thought leadership forums — articulating its clinical efficacy, AI-driven outcomes, and cost-saving potential to C-suite stakeholders and decision-makers. Simultaneously, you will serve as the internal voice of the market, synthesizing feedback from customers, prospects, and partners to inform product roadmap decisions and ensure Bloom evolves in lockstep with market demand.
- • You will design and implement commercial intelligence systems that track market dynamics, competitor moves, and buyer behavior, creating a continuous feedback loop between market signals and internal strategy. This includes developing win/loss analysis frameworks, monitoring adoption trends across women’s health use cases (pelvic health, menopause, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum), and measuring the effectiveness of positioning and messaging in real time.
- • You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, clinical, and sales teams to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and execution — translating high-level positioning into tactical assets like case studies, ROI calculators, clinician testimonials, and payer-facing evidence packs that empower the organization to win complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
