  • • As the Head of Commercial Strategy for Pulse at Sword Health, you will serve as the strategic architect and external ambassador for Sword’s AI-powered cardiometabolic health solution, shaping how the market perceives and adopts Pulse in a highly competitive landscape. This role is pivotal in establishing Pulse as the undisputed category leader in hypertension, pre-diabetes, diabetes, and GLP-1 support by translating deep market insights into compelling positioning, differentiation, and go-to-market strategy that drives adoption across health plans, self-insured employers, brokers, consultants, and platform partners.
  • • You will operate as a high-impact individual contributor without direct reports, leveraging your expertise, influence, and cross-functional collaboration to generate pipeline, inform product evolution, and ensure Sword’s commercial teams enter every engagement with a decisive advantage — backed by data, proof points, and narrative superiority against entrenched competitors like Hello Heart, Omada, Teladoc, Virta, and Vida.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include defining and refining Pulse’s market positioning and value proposition to clearly differentiate it from incumbent solutions, ensuring messaging resonates with clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem.
  • • You will lead commercial intelligence efforts by monitoring market trends, competitor moves, regulatory shifts, and payer preferences, synthesizing this into actionable insights that inform product roadmap, pricing strategy, and partnership opportunities.
  • • You will partner closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to co-create go-to-market playbooks, develop compelling sales enablement materials (including case studies, ROI models, and clinical evidence summaries), and equip field teams with the tools and arguments needed to win complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • • You will cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, brokers, consultants, and platform partners to amplify Pulse’s visibility, generate warm introductions, and influence market perception through thought leadership and advocacy.
  • • You will work with the General Manager and product leadership to close the loop between market feedback and product development, ensuring Pulse’s features, clinical pathways, and user experience evolve to meet unmet needs and reinforce its position as the superior AI-first cardiometabolic solution.
  • • You will design and track commercial KPIs tied to pipeline velocity, win rates, market share growth, and brand perception, using data to continuously optimize strategy and demonstrate impact to executive leadership.
  • • You will represent Pulse at industry conferences, advisory boards, and executive briefings, articulating Sword’s vision for AI-first cardiometabolic care and positioning the company as an innovator driving systemic change in chronic disease management.
  • • You will help build the foundational commercial infrastructure for Pulse as it scales, establishing repeatable processes for market entry, partner engagement, and value demonstration that can be replicated across new geographies and customer segments.
